Pregnancy & Parenthood
Whether you are navigating an unplanned pregnancy, trying to conceive, in any stage of pregnancy, postpartum, or several years into the parenthood journey, please know it is never too early or too late to reach out for support. My goal is to offer a compassionate, safe environment where you feel truly heard and supported through the profound complexities of this life transition.
Pregnancy to Postpartum
Welcoming a new addition to your family is a transformative chapter. While this season is unique and joyful, it is also a complex transition that often brings a wide spectrum of emotions. Are you feeling more anxious, sad, irritable, or angry since your little one arrived? Are you experiencing intrusive thoughts that cause distress and feel beyond typical worries? Together, we will explore your feelings and identify goals specific to you and your family. My role is to provide both emotional support and practical, concrete tools to help you navigate these unexpected moments. I am particularly adept at supporting clients through early feeding and sleep challenges, as well as those parenting spirited, deeply feeling toddlers.
Toddlerhood
Perhaps you have moved beyond the initial "fog" of the newborn stage and are now navigating the humbling toddler or preschool years—those days filled with sweet, connected moments followed by wondering when your child transformed into a fire-breathing dragon. Together, we will identify your personal goals for parenthood and determine where additional strategies and support may be most beneficial. My clinical approach is deeply informed by the work of Drs. Daniel Siegel and Becky Kennedy, grounded in attachment theory with a strong emphasis on fostering connection, developing emotion regulation strategies, and holding healthy boundaries over traditional punishment. I am confident that together, we can develop the strategies you need to become the parent you’ve always imagined yourself being.
Preteens & Adolescents
Are you raising a preteen or adolescent? While I don’t have personal experience in these stages, I dedicated half of my career to working with youth in both clinical and community settings. I understand how challenging it can be to maintain effective communication and connection during these years. I am here to offer evidence-based education and practical strategies to foster healthy dialogue, strengthen your bond, and navigate these sometimes turbulent years with confidence.
